After doing my house, I've become more comfortable talking about myself and about the fact that life's just an experiment. Designing my own house is an experience that I actually share a lot with my clients.
It’s a much more personal project, you learn a lot, you see things you wouldn’t see in a project for someone else. I just learned a massive amount, and it affected my practice of architecture in a really positive way
The most important thing to me is not so much what I think, it's what the family thinks, and that they enjoy the spaces we’ve created. That's the reward.
